Celebrating the Life of Miguel Amezcua
He lit up a room. Miguel had a generosity of spirit and a bold goofiness that made work fun. His leadership was effortless and natural. He was hard working and led by example; people wanted to follow him. The depth of our loss here at Walden is hard to articulate. While he was a critical member of the team, he was, most importantly, a friend. On hard days, he lifted our spirits with his infectious positivity. There is a Miguel-shaped hole in the universe that will never close. Rest in Paradise, Miguel. You were a real one.
Miguel leaves behind his life partner and two young children. In an effort to keep his memory alive, please leave your stories of Miguel here. We want his children and partner to know how much he was loved, to be held by the community of which he was such a critical part.

Miguel offers himself up as reference for the size of our end of year bonfire.

These are long, dusty days.
